Ana brings over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Most of her work has revolved around providing advocacy, crisis intervention, and treatment services focusing on empowerment and resiliency. Ana has a passion for helping youth and parents by reinforcing the use of skills that will aid them in building resiliency, connection, improve communication, and take control of their lives. Ana values the importance of creating a compassionate and genuine therapeutic connection because it takes courage and vulnerability to challenge difficult life experiences and transitions.
Ana strives to provide clinical interventions that are culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate. Areas of expertise include depression/mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, relationship problems, family conflict, domestic violence, behavioral/conduct issues, and parent support.
