Deyja Kauffman, LMFTA, Clinical Intern
I work with individuals, families, and couples. I am passionate about helping people access their strengths to overcome obstacles and lead to more satisfying and fulfilling lives.
With all clients, I aspire to create therapeutic relationships founded in connection, understanding, acceptance, and compassion.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, systemic, and strengths-based. I am interested in discovering meaning from your stories and life experiences. Through a deeper understanding of our own stories, we can begin to heal ourselves, our lives, and create the future we deeply desire.
As a therapist, I draw from the best evidence-based practices to provide a holistic treatment approach for my clients. I use techniques found in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and attachment theory.
I have over 10+ years’ experience working with at-risk adolescents, special needs children, and parents of special needs children. I am currently completing my Master’s Program in Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Seattle Pacific University.
