Michelle Valdez utilizes holistic and mindfulness-based therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Michelle has an eclectic approach to treatment, including: Person-Centered Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma-Informed Care, Gestalt Therapy, and Art Therapy. Michelle is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, as well as grief and loss. Michelle is a passionate advocate for social justice and for individuals who face marginalized discrimination.
Michelle Valdez earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at City University of Seattle. Michelle has 11+ years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is also experienced in family therapy. Another area of experience and interest is at-risk women and youth.
Michelle Valdez is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, currently working at the associate level, with full licensure by 2022.
