Julianne Park is committed to individuals, couples, and families experiencing healing, hope and peace. Being vulnerable and feeling hopeless can be an uncomfortable experience. Julianne has witnessed many individuals’ emotional, relational, and spiritual suffering. With a compassionate stance, she will help you see yourself courageous for being vulnerable, whether it is about restoring broken relationships or walking in the journey to find fulfillment in life.
Julianne integrates your strengths, collaborative problem-solving approach, and systems approach. She practices a variety of techniques including Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman Couples Method. One of the tools she embodies in therapy to help you process emotions to build strengths and understanding is perceiving at how attachment theory impacts how we bond with ourselves and others.
Julianne is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State. Julianne received a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. She has helped individuals and families work through emotional struggles such as depression, anxiety, and grief. Before seeking further education as a therapist, she worked as a secondary school teacher in international schools. She received her Master of Science in Education from Northwestern University in Illinois. During her teaching profession, Julianne had the privilege of counseling many youths as well as guiding parents to better understand their child’s emotional experiences. .
With the rich cultural backgrounds, Julianne is bilingual in English and Korean
